A reporter describes the reaction to his presence on a small island lately disturbed by a drug bust. I grew up on that island (and met the reporter); David Loyd is my father. I find the article interesting mostly for its honest but distinct bias -- or, if you prefer, selectivity. Some of the stories recounted as such are not true and most of the people described seem like caricatures, but I think this is to be expected; on the whole the article reassures me about papers' reliability.
